History: The need for Daughters without Dads came from the vision of the CEO, Doresa Armstrong, her own personal experience growing up without the positive male influence of her father. The vision was written down in a journal in 2005 and after a tragic life changing incident that occurred in her personal life in April 2008 the vision went from a journal entry into a full fledge pursuant of a life long dream of becoming a Philanthropist.
